Goals

The goals of this conference are to:

1. Provide an opportunity for researchers (government, university-based and NGOs) to share research results and exchange information;
   
   
2. Provide a forum for Domain Leaders and related stakeholders to identify domain-specific and cross-domain research agendas for the near future;
   
   
3. Provide an opportunity for federal partners, researchers, NGOs and other stakeholders to discuss substantive policy issues and participate in research planning for the medium range;
   
   
4. Provide an opportunity for the Metropolis Centres to coordinate their activities and plan possible joint projects; and
   
   
5. Discuss how Metropolis researchers will approach the new policy-research priorities developed by stakeholders of the Metropolis Project.
